Asst. Prof. Piya Prosongchan, the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial and Technology Education, participated in the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding to support youth from Malaysia with Siamese heritage. This agreement aims to provide educational opportunities for the youth to study at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya. The Vice President, Asst. Prof. Suthp Chooklin, representing the President of the Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, was assigned to join the signing ceremony. The memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed with the Phra Wisien Morlee Foundation (Chalum Kambanyo) by Phra Thep Sutthammayan, the Chairman of the Foundation, located at Wat Chaimongkhon, Phra Aram Luang, Bo Yang Sub-district, Mueang Songkhla District, Songkhla Province.
Both Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya and the Phra Wisien Morlee Foundation (Chalum Kambanyo) have the intention to collaborate in providing educational opportunities for the youth from Malaysia with Siamese heritage. This collaboration aims to enhance and open educational opportunities for the youth, who are under the patronage of the Phra Wisien Morlee Foundation (Chalum Kambanyo). It aims to promote and support the education of the youth from Malaysia with Siamese heritage at the tertiary level. Additionally, it aims to encourage them to learn about the way of life, existence, and the good culture of Thailand.
This memorandum of understanding has a duration of five academic years, with the utmost consideration given to the benefits of the students. The signing of this agreement was witnessed by the university administration of Srichai University of Technology and the committee members of the Phra Wisien Morlee Foundation. It took place at Wat Chaimongkhon, Phra Aram Luang, Bo Yang Sub-district, Mueang Songkhla District, Songkhla Province.
