A third-year student majoring in Industrial Technology participated in a training course on manual welding of metals at the National Labor Development Institute 12 Songkhla, with the objective of upgrading their skills and preparing for the national occupational skill testing.
On the final day (February 24, 2023), the participants underwent a simulated national occupational skill test for Level 1 in the Welder (Manual Arc) category. All trainees were required to pass the theoretical exam and submit two pieces of work for evaluation, including the welding of fillet joints in a northward facing position (PD position) and the horizontal pipe-to-vertical plate welding (PH position).
All students who successfully completed this training program will receive a certificate of recognition from the National Labor Development Institute, and are qualified to apply for the national occupational skill testing in the future.
