Ruts elevates the level of digital learning, enhances professional competencies, and improves the quality of education in the innovative educational landscape of Songkhla province

On November 10, 2023,

the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, under the research project "Development of Innovation and Elevation of Digital Learning Environment to Enhance Professional Competencies and Quality of Learning in the Educational Innovation Area of Songkhla Province," organized an educational innovation fair in Songkhla Province. The event, held at the Hadd Kaew Resort Hotel, was inaugurated by Asst. Prof. Piya Prasongchan, the Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya
The fair was conducted within the framework of the research plan "Development of Innovation and Elevation of Digital Learning Environment to Enhance Professional Competencies and Quality of Learning in the Educational Innovation Area of Songkhla Province," which received research funding support from the Basic Education Area Development Unit (BPAT) of the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC). The research project falls under the flagship program for educational innovation areas for the fiscal year 2565.

The research project, led by Asst. Prof. Dr, Songnakorn Karnna, included four sub-projects, namely: (1) building a mechanism for collaboration and educational management to enhance professional competencies, (2) developing a digital education platform to enhance professional competencies and the quality of learning in the innovative education area of Songkhla Province, (3) developing a competency-based curriculum to strengthen skills and learning quality in the innovative education area of Songkhla Province, and (4) developing the ability to manage learning and measure performance using an education platform through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) teaching integrated with Project-Based Learning.

The activities within the fair included skill exhibitions, presentations of best practices in teaching and learning, and discussions on the outcomes of research projects involving administrators, teachers, and students. Additionally, there were discussions on topics such as collaborative mechanisms for developing professional skills, teaching management for skill development, basic characteristics, and happiness derived from vocational skill training.

Moreover, there were exchanges of learning outcomes from participants in the research project, providing valuable insights for improvement. The fair aimed to showcase and share the successes and lessons learned from the research projects to contribute to the ongoing development of educational innovations in Songkhla Province.
