On July 3rd, 2023
the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology underwent an evaluation and monitoring of the 5S+ (5S Plus) activities for the academic year 2565 at the university level. A committee from the Architecture Department participated in inspecting the classrooms and laboratories within the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology's building to ensure compliance with the 5S+ operational plan. The aim was to emphasize the improvement of the working and learning environment, promoting cleanliness, convenience, safety, aesthetics, and environmental consciousness.

The 5S+ (7S) operational practices are as follows:

1. Sort: Separate necessary items for efficient use. If frequently used, store them in easily accessible locations. If used infrequently, store them appropriately for easy retrieval. Items that are no longer needed should be properly labeled for donation, sale, or disposal, depending on their relevance and value.
2. Systematize: Arrange various items in an orderly manner, enabling easy retrieval. Clearly label items and return them to their original positions after use. Categorize items according to the principle of "easy to retrieve, easy to know, and visually appealing."
3. Sweep: Clean the area and equipment to maintain a good condition and ensure safety.
4. Standardize: Continuously improve and maintain the first three practices for long-term effectiveness. This contributes to improving overall well-being.
5. Sustain: Cultivate the habit of practicing the 7S activities continuously and consistently until they become second nature.
6. Innovate: Encourage creativity, innovation, and improvement in work processes, aiming to reduce costs and establish better practices.
7. Surroundings/Beauty: Create a pleasant working environment that is visually appealing, comfortable, and refreshing without excessive embellishment. Adhere to the principle of resource conservation, such as electricity, water, and paper, and avoid unnecessary resource usage. Embrace the concepts of avoid, reduce, reuse, and recycle.
