Assis. Prof. Piya Prasongchan, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, had the honor of presiding over the opening ceremony of a practical training program on basic first aid and emergency response. The event featured Mr. Witphong Sripetch, a board member of International Safety CPR & AED Co., Ltd., and Ms. Hathai Arunothai, an assistant teacher of emergency first aid and basic rescue, as guest speakers, who shared their knowledge on topics such as risk factors for workplace accidents, personal protective equipment, industrial accident case studies, and conducting a workshop for hands-on training in basic first aid and emergency response includes:
1. Practical training on emergency medical care for patients who have suffered injuries from various accidents in the industrial workplace, such as injuries from sharp objects, external wounds, amputations, electric shock, patient transport, and others.
2. Practical training on basic life support skills (CPR) and the use of an AED machine.
The training results will be summarized and opinions will be exchanged at the Chupan Meeting Room, 2nd floor, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya
